  • HOW PTO MONEY IS SPENT

    • Award $1,000 scholarships to an 8th grade boy and girl who will be attending a local Catholic high school
    • Publish Buzz Book for our families
    • Provide cultural enrichment funds for spiritual, music and art appreciation
    • Assist the Band Program with funding for competitions
    • Assist with academic enrichment programs such as Accelerated Reader and the Book-it party for both1st grades
    • Offer a classroom allowance to teachers for classroom supplies
    • Purchase recess and PE equipment
    • Welcome Back coffee and doughnuts on the first day of school for parents
    • Sponsor several faculty luncheons throughout the year
    • Act as a liaison with room parents to provide First Thursday Treats to the faculty and staff each month throughout the school year
    • Provide refreshments for the flu clinic in November
    • Arrange for a visit from St. Nicholas on December 6 for the Feast of St. Nicholas and help him fill the children's shoes with candy
    • Host an ice cream social for students during Catholic Schools Week
    • Provide beverages for the Science Fair in January
    • Serve refreshments for the Aquinas Open House in February
    • Sponsor a table at the Catholic Business Network Dinner for Aquinas nominees
    • Coordinate field day at the end of the school year for students
    • Provide refreshments for Flu Clinic
    • Purchase ActiveBoards for classrooms as budget allows
