Diocesan Initial Admission Requirements
Students who desire an educational experience founded on the Catholic philosophy of education and who fulfill the age, health, academic and behavioral requirements are eligible for admission to the school.

The school sets registration procedures and admission policies. The availability of space and the order of preference for admission is determined by the school according to the following general criteria:

    a. Children from the parish
    b. Children from parishes without schools
    c. Children from parishes with schools (for sufficient reason)
    d. Children from non-Catholic families
If approved by the pastor, and where practicable, the siblings may receive special consideration.

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School Admissions Policy
St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School exists to first serve the families of Our Lady of Angels, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, and Sacred Heart Churches. Consideration is given first to students from families registered and active in one of those three parishes.

In the event that there are more applicants for a grade than space allows, the following criteria will be used in their respective order to determine the selection of applications:

  1. Siblings of current students
  2. Children of ACTIVE Parish Families from Our Lady of Angels, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and Sacred Heart
  3. Catholic children from families outside our three parishes, in the following order:
    1. Parishes without schools
    2. Parishes with schools
    3. Non-Catholics
Questions concerning St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School admission policy should be directed to Mrs. Karen Cardinale at 703-491-4447, ext. 216.
