Thank you for your interest in St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School (STARS) and in Catholic education. It is our pleasure to share information with you about our school and the application process. We began.accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year on January 4, 2010. Applications can be downloaded from the website or you may email the Admissions Office to have a packet sent to you.

Our application process includes a Student Application, Parent Interview Questionnaire, Student Recommendation Form, and Parish Confirmation Form. Student applications will not be reviewed until the application fee and all required documentation have been received in the Admissions Office.

In addition to the above mentioned forms, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students are screened and Middle School students are interviewed. Screenings and interviews are scheduled on an as needed basis.

Applications received after February 19 will be part of a rolling admissions process. Acceptances are made through the beginning of the school year as space is available.

    Parent Questionnaire submitted with application To be completed by parent or guardian and included with student application.
    Student Recommendation
    Form, PK-Eighth Grade
    provide to current teacher (not required for PK students who have not attended school yet)
    Complete the upper portion of the form, including parent/guardian signature. Forward to your child’s current teacher. Teachers may return the form to you or directly to the Admissions Office.
    Copy of most current and the past two years Report Cards and two years of Standardized Test Scores
    to be submitted with application
    Include with the application for grades 1 - 8.
    Middle School Questionnaire submitted with application For students in grades 6-8 only.
    Immunization Report   Copy of student's Immunization Record
    Confirmation of Parish Participation to be submitted to Parish Catholic families should complete the top portion and submit the form direclty to their Parish. Non-Catholic or non-practicing Catholics should complete the top portion and submit the form with the application.

    Acceptance is contingent on the following factors:

    • Space available in each class after current Aquinas families have registered
    • Current Aquinas families who have siblings applying
    • Families of registered parishioners of Our Lady of Angels, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, and Sacred Heart Churches
    • Catholic families whose Parish does not have a school
    • Non-Catholic families
    • Academic records
    • Pre-Kindergarten applicants must be 4 years old by September 30, 2010 and be developmentally ready for Pre-Kindergarten.
    • Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by September 30, 2010, and first grade applicants must be 6 years old by September 30, 2010.

    Completed applications will be reviewed and notification as to the status of the application will be mailed. Applicants will be placed in a waiting pool if spaces are unavailable.
